Telescopic door configuration

Slide and stack internal door system

Multiple glazed panels slide and stack neatly behind one another, allowing large interior openings without the stacking space typically required for bifold doors.

This makes telescopic doors particularly well-suited to offices, hospitality spaces, educational buildings and modern residential interiors where flexible layouts are important.

The ID30 telescopic configuration allows multiple door panels to slide along a top-hung track system and stack neatly behind one another. This allows wider openings to be created while maintaining slim aluminium framing and large glazed panels.

Because the system requires minimal stacking space, telescopic doors are often used where traditional sliding or bifold doors may not be practical.

Flexibile configuration to suit a wide range of openings

Configurations are available with 2–5 panels sliding in one direction or up to 8 panels in a bi-parting arrangement, allowing the system to suit a wide range of interior openings.

Door leaf sizes start from 450 mm (w) × 1800 mm (h) and extend up to 900 mm (w) × 2400 mm (h) per panel. The maximum overall system size is 4000 mm (w) × 2800 mm (h).

The system operates using a top-hung multi-roller track system, removing the need for floor tracks and allowing smooth sliding operation.

Once the configuration and dimensions are confirmed, the final specification can be completed by selecting hardware options, glazing types, Georgian bar arrangements and colour finishes.

Why choose telescopic doors

Wide openings with minimal space required

Telescopic doors offer a practical solution where large openings are required but wall space is limited.

By allowing multiple panels to slide and stack behind one another, the ID30 telescopic system creates wider clear openings while maintaining a compact footprint.

This makes it particularly useful in offices, hospitality environments and residential interiors where flexible room layouts are needed.
